His price was competitive and his timing for the work was earliest of six estimates. He
worked with us to meet all our needs. Before starting, he made sure we understood his
safety concerns and took all precautions for the work. He and his assistant were courteous
and quickly cut down the huge split trunk spruce tree and one more. They chipped all branches
and left larger sections cut up onto firewood and piled up as we requested. They cleaned up all
the site and left our yard cleaned up and ready for winter. They were fast, friendly, and professional. They had all the equipment necessary and in good condition. What we thought would take all day was finished in only five hours. They did a very difficult job to perfection, especially in this difficult COVID-19 time. We will use them again and definitely recommend them to everyone.

These past few weeks we’ve been enjoying the leaves falling out of our poplar trees, and I’m impressed once again with the nice job you and your crew did pruning them in September.
These are large trees, over 30 years old, and I had never had them pruned, partly because I was always worried somebody would butcher them back into stubby branches, the way a lot of the City trees are done. In fact, I was a bit worried about what I would find when I came home on pruning day.
I was please and impressed. You did as promised. All the dead and sick wood was gone. The healthy branches had all been left as is, but you removed enough of them to lighten the trees, while maintaining their nice natural shape.
A casual observer would never know the trees had been pruned, yet we could see the difference in appearance. A positive difference, since all the dead wood and darkness was becoming a bit oppressive.
Anyways, now that the leaves are gone, the trees still look great, and we continue to enjoy them. We also appreciated your advice about adding a cable to prevent the trunk splitting, and your comments on how to prune accessibly branches in a way that is healthy for the trees.
